After 22 years of military service, I understand the challenges veterans face when transitioning to civilian life. For years we've been trying to figure out how to make a difference in the ever-changing housing landscape. We had begun to educate ourselves and attended the 2024 VA Housing Symposium hosted by the Fayetteville, NC VA and were convinced we are on the right track! The housing crisis is not over and the need for affordable housing solutions have increased. J & L Community Living was created to provide a safe and supportive environment for veterans, transitioning service members, and other members of our community impacted by homelessness.

Our 7 years experience in hospitality and years of government service have afforded us the skills and resources to create solutions for the current housing crisis.

Our homes offers more than shelter; it’s a community created by our clients, our team, and community partners. We provide clean, safe, affordable housing and work with our community partners to support our clients with the resources and encouragement to help provide the support in regaining independence and finding a sense of belonging.
